They say keep your friends close to you and your enemies closer,
But sometimes the ones closest to you will end up hurting you the most,
Because the people you grew up with or blew up with, can be the hardest to get in touch with,
When life gets the toughest,
Then you get disgusted,
Those you put your trust in,
Become your enemies because you never sat down and discussed it,
Until a tragedy, forces you to grow up quick,
And then you reflect on it like why were we even fussing,
Now time flies,
Its killing you inside,
You want to put your issues aside
But you have too much foolish pride,
To just swallow and let it go,
This is what we can learn from Remy Martin and Fat Joe,
Don’t wait, until it’s too late to swallow and let it go.
They leaned back together, kissed and made up, after a long break up, now they are all the way up.
If you have a friend who once did you wrong,
Communication went wrong, the friendship went wrong,
All it takes is one phone call, and before long, the squad is back strong.
just like Remy Martin and Fat Joe,
Swallow and let it go,
Because it does the mind, heart and body good to exercise forgiveness,
and regrets are just to much of a pest to live with.
